Didn't matter for many years, a decade plus before and the first decade
or more after I started posting them. My theory is that the increasing
role of the 3, and the variability it introduces, has rendered coaching
and effort adjustment less important than they used to be, but who
knows. This era has broken a ton of NBA tech, that much is for sure.
