Spamming the newsgroups is as old as the newsgroups themselves. The phenomenon aggravated in the early 2000s though. Originally, this form of spamming was done for a mercantile purpose. The posters advertised books or medicines to potential customers.
Maybe their products were for real and the sellers made some money.
The spamming soared lately, however. It goes beyond the advertising business now. Nobody buys all those outdated books. Nobody buys those dangerously expired medicines. Nobody is that fool and buy counterfeit currencies. There is a different purpose for
newsgroup spamming now.
The goal of the latest tsunami in newsgroup spamming is related to Ion Saliu (royalty-name Parpaluck). Yes, it is me, the original poster. This wave of spam is aggravated in newsgroups where Ion Saliu Parpaluck writes regularly. The worst part is, from
the perspective of gambling outlets, that Ion Saliu publishes gambling systems. He is too serious about his systems. Yes, other people publish all kinds of gambling/lottery systems in newsgroups. But Ion Saliu is NOT joking about his systems!
If one of Ion Saliu's posts is at the top of a newsgroup as it is listed in Google Groups, the intense spamming starts right away. The most notorious case now is rec.gambling.blackjack. It used to be rec.gambling.misc. The spam killed the rec.gambling.
misc group in the year of grace 2019. Ion Saliu started to post in that newsgroup in the year of grace 2018. He published gambling systems and also referred readers to Ion Saliu's Web pages dedicated to gambling. Ion Saliu also posted negative materials
on one notorious servant of the casino industry: Wizard of Odds, lately Wizard of Vegas.
The rec.gambling.blackjack group also publishes Ion Saliu's blackjack systems. People can read negative materials on other gambling notorieties, such as Don Schlesinger and Norman Wattenberger. There is negativity about the card counters in blackjack as
well. Ion Saliu calls the affliction a form of CTE: 'chronic traumatic encephalopathy'. The card counters are really the darlings of the casinos because they lose the largest amounts of money. I am talking here about the true card counters — the fools
who believe in the gambling strategy religiously.
The most notorious "card counters", however,, are the casino moles. They attend and post in every gambling cyberspace, touting the values of card counting. They expose themselves by claiming they were barred from casino play because of counting! Not to
mention that the "card-counter catchers" employed by the casinos are the most notorious advocates of the cult: System developers, software programmers, book authors, vendors of all manner of card counting systems!
So now you know what's behind these waves of spamming in newsgroups where Ion Saliu publishes...
