What is the "Say Red" game? Roulette?

    Irish Mike

It is a game that actually exists, in spite of what Pickle thinks. You can
just Google it. Its only purpose seems to have been to demonstrate how people misunderstand probability. It is very easy to think you can get an advantage
in the game - much like card counting, but there is proof that it cannot be beaten - it is just another even money bet. There were still people here who would not accept that fact.

    You misstate the discussion.

Our discussion is whether if you call the last card RED on every single
deal ... can you get ahead one bet and quit.

No one will play that game with me over and over again for $100 bets
because I quit while I am ahead.

I might only play once ... but sometimes I must play a few more times of
the back and back before I get one bet ahead. Then I quit while I am
    ahead that one bet.

[It is the same reason there is at least one zero on the "fair" roulette
wheel. I could play red on that wheel every time and only get ahead one
bet (maybe the first spin) ... but I must stop then, of course, if I
want to be sure of a win.]

All the "other" bets in roulette are improved with just one zero ...
even more with two or three.

One bet? Who cares. Use the 'martingale' system and easily get rich. That's how I retired at 27. Also on your next annual physical be sure to ask him to check for frontotemporal dementia. Snicker.

Only you are talking about Martingale here ... you back to sleep.
