    1. Snipped first comment as weather looks to be same all day long mostly...

    2. If you are gonna rig tee times, how the hell do you put Bryson DeChambeau at 7:40AM? There's going to be a logjam of players the entire day.

    3. Not really fair intentionally not pairing Amateurs with tourney stars.

    4. Feels like they curate the tee times to fit a desired TV schedule....amateurs both first and dead last.

Ya, the U.S. open has a history of "deliberate-pairing" for the Thurs/Fri rounds.

The Jason Day/Justin Rose/ Richy group looks like a good one to follow Thursday. All three need a win, and are capable of winning a major.

Rickie Fowler IMO is getting past his prime for a 5'9" golfer, though he did almost make the board in the Player Championship...IMO he's barely keeping his players card and his prime was when he cut this video:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PM2NocuEihw .
He's been the brides maid at a couple majors when he was younger...and he may have a shot at the open considering the open rewards you for accuracy, not length. Rose and Day seem to be doing ok....not sure why but I'm always left with the feeling that
Rose has underperformed his career. Re Brooks, I'm always a big fan of Brooks. That dude just thrives on what usually cripples other golfers mindsets. If Brooks can keep healthy, he'll crush Rory, because despite Rory's slight improvement in the mind
game, he's still a choker to the point Jack Nicklaus wants to talk with him about it. I'm rooting for Brooks because I think he's Tiger-like in that he keeps healthy and winning when he plays only the fewer tournaments he cares about.

    Rickie!

I thought he'd never shake Gander Souffle.

It's been a good two days of golf-watchin'

Good leaderboard and a lot of players still "in it" for the weekend.

Ya, I guess Rickie has been having a bit of a comeback this year.....we're sorta on his home turf. And we'll see who chokes and who doesn't on Sunday.

As I type, you can get 5 to 1 odds on Rickie Fowler and he's only 1 stroke behind with 16 to go and one of the two people ahead of him is Rory who is a known choker.

Clark was the last one I both wanted, and thought would win.

One of the best leaderboards I can remember in a U.S. Open, and the noisy unknown wins it.

I think Brooks explained it well why he doesn't like that course....it's set up to where your fairway shots all end up in the same spot no matter where you hit it. So, maybe whoever has the hot putter wins.
But despite having done nothing for years on the tour, Clark managed to win at Wells Fartgo a few weeks back, so he's hot right not...finally...after all these years. And, we know Rory chokes....and Rickie probably also benefitted all week from the
fairway design of the course that nullified Brooks length advantage
