    We haven't had Representative democracy in a while now....ever since the Supreme court ruled on Citizens United allowing Big business billionaires to buy up both parties and fill up positions of power the the spoiled ivy league educated children of
    elites. That's what control things now.......elections are just a joke. If Anyone in congress doesn't do specifically what they are ordered to do from the top, the entire machine of other party will just primary against them. There is no
    representation there AT ALL...just the needs and desires of the billionaires funding it all.
