  • This is an interesting YouTube channel

    This was the video that got my attention, a somewhat alternate view of Sonny Liston:

    The channel has several boxing videos but also WWII, Apaches, Lee Harvey Oswald, etc.

    He adapted to his environment for survival and in those days boxing was crooked so it was natural that he would fall in with crooks. But if he really was involved in heroin dealing in his last years I can't respect that.

    It was really bad taste to show partial images of his corpse.

    Mike Tyson comments on his admiration of Jack Dempsey. Very much so for his demeanor in the ring but it's interesting that they both had a very rough childhood, were both relatively short, and both had a high-pitched voice.

    I forgot to mention- back in those days after an opponent had fallen it looks like it was acceptable to continue beating his brains out as soon as he got one knee off the canvas.

    Top Shelf documentary,. Much deeper than Cassius Clay's start from getting his bike stolen and being mad about it. I think what you loved about it is how American it is in that it's the story of an underog and that's what Americans love. It doesn't
    matter who you are, but if you overcame adversity, strived, and succeeded. That's what America was built upon. THAT is Sonny Liston. I'll forever remember him as an American hero no matter what else history says about him.

    Why do guys like you always have to be sat down like a child and have it explained to you. Not every race is bad, not every race is good. BUT, some races have a much higher than average rate of doing bad things...and it's obvious....in all stats...
    which that race is. So, you take precautions, wait till someone proves who they are. Having said that, I've truly enjoyed every race at the poker table and I've also truly hated every race at the poker table. But, poker dealers are mostly 80% shit.
