    Who could say for sure that it wasn't an intelligent choice, and not a coin flip coincidence he checked it from behind the ball launcher?

    Also:

    I was half expecting the ball launcher to be aimed at a couch across the room, and there'd be a cat lounging around on the couch...that would have been classic material; like Wiley Coyote and The Roadrunner.
