I just finished watching a film about the cheating of Ultimate Bet in and around 2008. Can't believe it was that long ago. How time flies. I've seen the film before, but a lot of it had faded from my memory. The film is over an hour long and is
entitled "Ultimatebeat". How many of you RGPers watched it or remember it well? It's mindblowing.

Yea. Arrogance and greed. The guys that figured out how to beat Blackjack could have made a 'good' living forever. And the guy that beat Keno was just stupid and easy to catch.

Vegas does it right. If you're a known cheater, you're locked out of the casino. If you win big at craps, they follow you around in the casino.

Jerrytard has been telling us for years that no one beats the casinos. Now suddenly he has "discovered" winning blackjack players. Although, I am quite sure he knows next to nothing about the history of winning blackjack play. And yes, even today
there are very successful players. Traditional counting methods are not the only way to skin a cat.

Not if they intercept the system. Here in Vegas, they will reshuffle if you change the size of your bet.
Of if you make big bet changes if they're using a shoe.

The winning system was counteracted almost instantly, Jerry. Did you forget he published it in a fucking book? I read it half a century ago. I used to count in Reno, mid to late 70s. The best I could do was cover the cost of the trip. It doesn't take
them long at all to recognize that you're counting if you maximize. To avoid interference you have to bet so low that you can't make any real money.

So, no. You can't make a 'good' living forever by counting, or even a mediocre living.

I don't think these days blackjack is very beatable at all. 6 to 5 tables are outright unbeatable. Single deck(if you can find it) has automatic shufflers shuffling each hand. Even if you find a double deck with 3 to 2 BJ, they often don't get very
deep into the decks. And, if you move around your bets much at all, they might stop you pretty quick and if you do play a long time and win, they'll tap you on the shoulder, brush you off, ban you, etc. if you don't take the effort to move around a
lot and that's hard to do on the best nights because there might be only one favorable table in the house. Even if you have a favorable table, there are actually some dealers you need to avoid because they track the cards themselves and if a bunch of
small cards come out on the first deal, they might just shuffle up....old asian females are legendary for that. The types of dealers that were great to play against mostly don't exist anymore like really old white guys who aren't 100% mental capacity
and give off tells or the young white girls who are ditzy and don't know WTF they are doing if you get them into a conversation. It's not even worth trying these days.

I honestly think they are on much less of a look out than they used to be. A lot of BJ games are 6 to 5 these days and your only chance of beating those tables is with a huge spread that you'll never get down.

If so, how much can they pull, before the heat intensifies?
I've heard of guys being tapped on the shoulder within 45minutes at a new place. I, myself, have had pit bosses recognize me and make the dealer shuffle up a double deck every single hand against me as soon as I sat down.

I found it most irritating when the count was even all the time. If the count is really bad, you can really hit your stiff hands a lot more. It's like the more extreme the deck is either way, the more accurate your strategy is.

I'd also pay quite a bit of attention to the aces. If a lot of aces come out right away, it's time to stop playing until the dealer shuffles.

I'm being sarcastic and fucking with Retard Jerry. Blackjack is very beatable, even these days. James Grosjean is the man if you want good reading. Expensive. The only reason I am posting is to fuck with idiot Jerry because he has been saying for
years that no one beats the casino, which proves what a retard he is. He insists that video poker cannot be beaten, (because it's a slot), which is so ridiculous it does not deserve a response. Jerry is one of the most clueless RGPers in all of RGP
history. Seriously, he is one stupid mutherfucker. By the way, here in California, Spanish 21 is the game to play. Very beatable, and low heat. Actually, almost no heat.

Never saw it, but took a look at it the other day. Gamblers are kind of sad, really. Doesn't appear to be much comeuppance to the story.

Not if they intercept the system. Here in Vegas, they will reshuffle if you change the size of your bet.
Of if you make big bet changes if they're using a shoe.
If so, how much can they pull, before the heat intensifies?
They can't, now. You no longer see more than two deals before a shuffle. And with 6 or 7 deck
    shoes, they watch the betting..

There were ways to mitigate detection. I played around with counting for a while. Balanced system and then unbalanced when KO came out. I didn't need to make a living at it. I never spread enough to make much. I didn't like the possibility of heat.
At the time I could do so much better playing video poker with zero heat. The casino would practically be begging me to play, in fact. So much easier.... One time I was at a table at the Dust doing my little thing. The count ran really positive and
just then a guy comes over from another table and starts betting big stacks of black. It wasn't a coincidence.

I don't think these days blackjack is very beatable at all. 6 to 5 tables are outright unbeatable. Single deck(if you can find it) has automatic shufflers shuffling each hand. Even if you find a double deck with 3 to 2 BJ, they often don't get very
deep into the decks. And, if you move around your bets much at all, they might stop you pretty quick and if you do play a long time and win, they'll tap you on the shoulder, brush you off, ban you, etc. if you don't take the effort to move around a lot
and that's hard to do on the best nights because there might be only one favorable table in the house. Even if you have a favorable table, there are actually some dealers you need to avoid because they track the cards themselves and if a bunch of small
cards come out on the first deal, they might just shuffle up....old asian females are legendary for that. The types of dealers that were great to play against mostly don't exist anymore like really old white guys who aren't 100% mental capacity and give
off tells or the young white girls who are ditzy and don't know WTF they are doing if you get them into a conversation. It's not even worth trying these days.
    .

When I was working at the Golden Nugget, a dealer that had a 'Negative box" six days (if I remember right) in a row, got fired.
