More left-wing rubbish. Here are the Federal Tax facts in America:

The top 1% of American income earners pay 38.8% of all Federal Income Tax.
The top 10% of American income earners pay 70.9% of all Federal Income Tax.
The top 50% of American income earners pay 97.2% of all Federal Income Tax.
The bottom 50% of American income earners pay less than 3% of all Federal Income Tax.

And when the Democrats print $Trillions of dollars and use it as Government handouts
to buy votes, it is the employed, hard working Americans who end up paying
the bill. And it also why we are suffering from 40 year high inflation since Biden took office.

And when the Democrats print $Trillions of dollars and use it as Government handouts
to buy votes, it is the employed, hard working Americans who end up paying the bill. And it also why we are suffering from 40 year high inflation since Biden took office.

    Irish Mike

    Do you understand arithmetic?

The top 1% pay 39% of federal tax.

However, the average income for that top is about $1.7 million, compared to about $31,000 for the population as a whole. That means that the top 1% has about 55% of the income.

    ~ 38.8% + 70.9% doesn't equal 100%. Who's doin' your figgerin' for you?

My error. I uncorrectly assumed the 1% you wrote was 'bottom'.

~ The top 50% of American income earners pay 97.2% of all Federal Income Tax.
The bottom 50% of American income earners pay less than 3% of all Federal Income Tax.
In 2018 about half of American taxpayers had an income below $40,000. From where does your figgerin' guy think any additional taxes are supposed to come? If American plutocrats want the poor to pay more taxes then they need to pay them more of the
national income. But that isn't the kind of sharing they're interested in, is it?

In 2018 taxpayers with incomes of $5,000,000 - $10,000,000 paid about 4% of all Federal Income Tax and taxpayers with incomes of less than $40,000 also paid about 4% of all Federal Income Tax (NOT 3% as you stated above).

BTW- are those American plutocrats paying you to propel their propaganda or are you just a sap doing their work for free?

Do government employees get paid by the government ... and aren't non-government employees responsible for making sure there is enough
    "money" to pay them?

ZipRecruiter apparently defines “government employee” as a “municipal employee”: It says the average annual salary of government employees in
the United States is $63,659 (with a range that goes from $16,500 to
$143,000). The biggest tipoff that this analysis excludes federal
workers is the nation’s top job, which pays well above $143,000 a
year. It’s the president of the United States, who makes $400,000 a year.

But even the president isn’t the highest-paid federal employee; this distinction belongs to Dr. Anthony Fauci, who makes nearly $418,000 a year as the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases. By way of comparison, most judges on the U.S. Supreme Court
make $268,300 a year, and Smart Asset says that most U.S. senators and representatives make $174,000 a year.

Really good government employees have special ways to enhance their
"net" ... especially those that control stuff at the top. Even lower
guys and gals can get a lot of extra "income". Politics is a dirty

In the past 40 years, the tax cuts by the GOP have put about $50 trillion in the pockets of the top 0.01%. That would have eliminated the deficit.

And when the Democrats print $Trillions of dollars and use it as Government handouts
to buy votes, it is the employed, hard working Americans who end up paying
the bill. And it also why we are suffering from 40 year high inflation since
    Biden took office.

    Irish Mike

    Do you understand arithmetic?

The top 1% pay 39% of federal tax.

However, the average income for that top is about $1.7 million, compared to about $31,000 for the population as a whole. That means that the top 1% has about 55% of the income.
Where does the money come from for the payment of government employees?
Do government employees get paid by the government ... and aren't non-government employees responsible for making sure there is enough
    "money" to pay them?

ZipRecruiter apparently defines “government employee” as a “municipal employee”: It says the average annual salary of government employees in the United States is $63,659 (with a range that goes from $16,500 to
$143,000). The biggest tipoff that this analysis excludes federal workers is the nation’s top job, which pays well above $143,000 a year.

Politics is a dirty
    business.

Divided government is better that one size fits all government, no
    matter "who" is "in charge".

The highest paid state employees are generally the coaches of the flagship university football or basketballs teams, although Ohio always lists a psychiatrist.

I know it takes a lot of painstaking detective work so I will save you the trouble. I got those above numbers from the article I linked directly below those numbers.

    As to the OP:
Biden to Spend $36 Billion to Bail Out Troubled Union Pension Fund
    .
I just sent a Letter to the Editor of my paper that says:
    .
In your editorial, “Biden Pays off unions with pension bailout,” you went to great lengths complaining about President Biden bailing out the Teamsters Fund and how it’s, “the largest taxpayer bailout of a private pension plan in history.” I
just wonder if you compared its size to President Bush bailing out the banks in 2008, but not bailing out all those people that lost their homes.
