There's nothing surprising about that when a historically massive amount of money has been injected into an economy. The question is whether or not attempts to control the resulting price increases with higher interest rates will tip the economy into
recession. That level of GDP growth is, in fact, surprisingly weak considering the amount of stimulus applied.
