I haven't been active on Usenet for the last few years, but for those of you who don't know me I'm Marcus Rowland and write/publish Forgotten Futures, a shareware tabletop RPG based on Victorian and Edwardian SF etc.law mean that taking online registrations has recently become impossibly complicated, and I've reluctantly decided to end this form of distribution. Instead all of the game and source material will go on line later this year, free of charge, though there
Forgotten Futures has been published as shareware since 1993; most of the game material is on line with extra source material available to registered users. 10% of the game's proceeds support Cancer Research UK. Unfortunately changes in European tax
One of the consequences is that I want to send partial refunds to everyone who has registered since the last release of the game - what I've offered users is the choice of a refund or donation to Cancer Research UK. If people want refunds I would liketo confirm their current PayPal addresses. I've heard back from some (and have already raised more than £150 for charity) but I still have more than 30 people who either haven't replied or whose email is bouncing. If you think you might be affected

Many thanks!

Further to this, refunds have now been sent to all of the current registered users who did not ask me to pass on the money to charity, and I have donated £210 to Cancer Research UK. If you think that you are entitled to a refund and have not receivedone please contact me.
I hope to have all of the Forgotten Futures material available for free download (via bittorrent and direct download) towards the end of this month if all goes well.law mean that taking online registrations has recently become impossibly complicated, and I've reluctantly decided to end this form of distribution.
