Very nice. Thanks. Also mentioned it in an IRC chat with people into
vintage stuff.

Indeed. Kind of sums up the longer video.

Both Ahoy and Gaming Historian channels are great. I subscribed to them. ;)

Meanwhile (no idea why almost 5 year old postings show up here again) the Angry Video Game Nerd (AVGN) on Youtube made a video about Polybius. How
a cabinet sneaked up into his dwelling, and he claims it's all a hype,
but day after day gets more addicted to it while keeping in denial.
The days of AVGN are over, even rehashing wikipedia is pretty old
these days... I haven't watched them in a while... I like Modern
Vintage Gamer, he's background is technical.

Yes, I noticed in a recent Commodore 64 games episode. Also annoying he starts every episode with advertisements. I unsubscribed a while
ago. Some videos were still good. Like the one of Polybius, or when he
had Macaulay Culkin in one episode.
Modern Vintage Gamer is still in my subscriber list. Would be nice to see more videos. Unless about flying (seems to be his big hobby) I'm not
really in. But his IBM PC and Apple reviews rock.

The problem is that they need to make money. :( Just skip the ads.
It is rather unfortunate that they don't have anyone like Screwattack bankrolling their content anymore (and even then, Game Trailers was bankrolling Screwattack, and that was an MTV company). I'll still watch
his videos as I have nothing better to do with my time, I don't really
value it too much, but it really has to be said, AVGN just isn't really
that good anymore.
Or to put it nicer, hit or miss, but he misses the mark so much, it's
just slightly higher end Irate Gamer at this point.
