• Way OT: Happy Belated Birthday, William Shatner

From jmcquown@21:1/5 to All on Sun Mar 24 17:36:12 2024
He turned 93 a couple of days ago and is still going strong.

I remember seeing him in a couple of episodes of The 'Twilight Zone',
well before the 1960's TV series 'Star Trek' and all the subsequent
films and franchises spawned afterwards even though the cheaply made TV
show only ran 3 years and was cancelled. Go figure.

The Twilight Zone "Nightmare at 20,000 Feet" is a classic. Corny, but
classic. I thought "Nick of Time" was much more fun:

I knew he was two days older than dirt, but I had no idea he was
    in his 90's.

I don't remember if the first time I saw him on film was a 'Twilight
Zone' episode or as the liaison officer in 'Judgement at Nuremberg.'

He was making the rounds of talk shows. I caught a couple of interviews
on Youtube. He's got all his marbles. He did say he doesn't know why
people are "congratulating" him for turning 93, as if he had anything to
    do with it. LOL

I don't remember if the first time I saw him on film was a 'Twilight
Zone' episode or as the liaison officer in 'Judgement at Nuremberg.'

Hmmm, I don't think I've ever seen that movie. Next time it shows up on
TCM I'll have to watch it.

Maybe you'll have better luck. Years ago, I kissed her royal anus for a
quite a while, but it didn't work for me.

How many shares do you plan to buy? I would put every penny I owned in
trump stock if I were you. Maybe also cash out every thing else you own to
    get more.
