  • Salisburied?

    Due to recent posts, I made meatloaf, formed it into four burgers,
    simmered it for an hour with a bit of BTB and mushrooms and made this.
    It tasted better than it looks, and it made four meals for cheap.
    Next time, I'll use cube steak.

    But, Leo, don't you feel a wee bit "guilty" by not using healthy brown rice instead ot the white...???

    Did it taste like Salisbury steak?? I like the rice for a nice change
    from potatoes.

    It's been so long since I had real Salisbury steak, that I don't
    remember. I "think" it tasted as I recalled?
    At any rate, it was cheap, and I'll do it again. We're having chicken
    wings tonight. We haven't eaten them in a while either. Eight bucks for
    eight wings. Geeze!
