• Coconut Milk vs. Coconut Cream Question

From ItsJoanNotJoAnn@21:1/5 to All on Thu Mar 7 20:04:50 2024
I have a recipe that calls for coconut cream and the fat content can
vary between 19 and 22 percent. Whereas coconut milk can vary between
9 and 15 percent. Do you think there would be that much difference in
the taste of either in my recipe?? This will be in a baked dessert for reference.

Easter candy is in the stores. Get some of those chocolate covered
coconut eggs and squeeze the cream out of them.

Perhaps sub a bit of cream or even butter along with the coconut milk to
make up for the fat content. No idea other than that though.

In a way it was, because Joan's question did involve a baked dessert.
But for him to say I don't know about baking is foolish since we're not
talking about baking bread, which I certainly have done many times.
Baked desserts? No. It doesn't negate the fact that coconut cream and
coconut milk should not be used interchangeably. He's being his usual (ridiculous) contentious self.

Easter candy is in the stores. Get some of those chocolate covered
coconut eggs and squeeze the cream out of them.

Chuckle, not the same thing Ed. I bet you knew that!

    No kidding. Heh.

    You don't bake.

The difference between coconut cream and coconut milk

the recipe called for, coconut cream.

The Bruce responses were irrelevent (as usual).

This will be a coconut cake and will also include flaked coconut.

You didn't mention in your original post it was a cake or that it
included flaked coconut.  You simply said it was a "baked dessert". >>>> Thanks for the clarification.

    Jill

Please, your majesty, don't ban Joan. She made a simple mistake. She
    should have divulged full information.

Still, I humbly beg your highness to let her off with a rap on her
knuckles. She is not an evil knave, your majesty.

And I pray that HRH Jill does not ask God to SMITE poor innocent Joan, as
Majesty recently asked God to do with ME...!!!

Nope, HRH got it right with you, evil homosexual!

I hope you burn in hell, with NO diks to suck.

Her majesty will surely watch over this event.

But her majesty is too regal to gloat. I'll do that for her.

    OY...!!!

    I am verily DOOMED...!!!

    SAVE ME SIRE HANK...!!!

I can't shield you from almighty god. When you break HIS laws, HE knows it because he watches you constantly.

To repent, you'll have to stop having sex with men. If you suck even one
tiny dik in a bus station bathroom, god will see you.

And anal sex is out of the question. That's just as bad as eating diks. God doesn't like it. You won't find a gob of shit dripping from the Lord's pecker.

Welp, then, I guees I'll have to ask President Trump for a forgiveness,
he'll be back in power in about TEN months from now..

    :-D

ANYWAYS, it's been ***26*** years since I have "lain with a man"... back in 1998 I became "born again", Christian - wise...thus I am prolly considered "chaste" by Our Lord in any case...

It doesn't matter what the lord thinks, if you're good with trump.

After all, the Lord takes HIS orders from trump, as well as anal sex if
trump feels like doing a little butt fucking.

Hank! With JK gone, I thought Bryan and Greg were the only
ones left here on 'Team Anal'.

Don't do it! Please pardon the expression, but that would
be a start down a slippery slope.

Next you will be proferring death wishes.

Come to think of it, does sticking one's nose into someone's ass
count as anal sex? Bruce toyed with death wishes last year too,
before I publicly shamed him into minor moral thought adjustment.

Ouch! We have, likely, a larger base of Asians here. We have several
'Asian style' groceries. 1.89 for can of coconut cream. I pick it up
for Susan pretty often. Her family makes coconut cream pies with it.
