• Recommendations for a Deep Fryer?

From Alan Holbrook@21:1/5 to All on Mon Feb 26 16:49:58 2024
I'm looking to buy a deep fryer and I'd like to know what people in this
group think. My main requirements are:

o big enough for 4 pieces of chicken
    o removable basket
o removable oil pan to facilitate filtering
    o temp to 375(F)
    o maintains temperature

    Any thoughts?

That will be interesting. it's the removable oil pan I've not seen.

There are Breville deep fryers with removable pans.

I don't know that you'll find many people here who own deep fryers.
Speaking for myself, I find the mess of deep frying + the straining and
storing (for a time) of used oil to be more trouble than it's worth.
