We have some lovely bean sprouts and will make this:

MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.05

Title: Xxcarol's bean sprout stir fry
    Categories: Xxcarol, Vegetables, Asian
    Yield: 3 Servings

2 tb Olive oil for frying
    1/4 lb Bean sprouts
    1/2 ea Red bell pepper
6 ea Fresh green beans, trimmed
    2 ea Small carrots
    3 ea Cloves fresh garlic

This really simple fast stir fry requires little preparation so is
fast. Average person with a well laid out kitchen will be done with
the minimal chopping in 4 minutes. It cooks in 5 minutes.

Heat oil in frying pan with flat bottom wok preferred due high sides
making it easier to toss about as it cooks. Next sliver the garlic
thinly then add sprouts and chopped peppers. Last shave the
carrot with a vegetable peeler over the dish then snap the green beans
and add. Everytime you add to the pan, toss it. When you get to the
green beans, it's just them to catch up and you still want them crisp.

From the VB kitchen of: xxcarol 17Feb2024

    MMMMM

We are having this with last of the watermelon in slices.

    all ok with me.

we did burgers today, ground chuck. not quite cold
center but rarer than i normally do it.

later on it has been a few chunks of carrots.

also had some shortbread cookies (with and without
    chocolate chips).

February is always the best month for watermelon. It comes right
    before pumpkin month!

My son was first. he married a friend who was widowed. Daughter next, We
were a year later. Granddaughter divorced and moved about 4 years ago.
Lived with me for about a year and got her own place.

I see her a lot as she cannot drive so I take her places. She
appreciates it and will take me to lunch or buys me flowers when she
    goes to the store, etc.

Works fine with me! If I don't have hamburger buns made, I toast a
thick slice of bread then apply mayo and a flavorful brown grainy
mustard plus lettuce to the bottom and top the burger with cheese once
flipped. Top bread gets mayo and onion ringlits. Usually eaten with
    side of homemade coleslaw.

My savory coleslaw varies based on what I have on hand. Example may
gain red radish slivers and often has small daikon match sticks.

3 cups cut up head cabbage (may use some bok choy white ends for part
of it). Ofen has some red/purple cabbage for part just to add color.

Shaved carrot strips cut to smaller strips.

In Apple season in my yard, apt to gain slices of apple (the ONLY sweet
    thing in there).

1 small onion cut up fairly small.

Add mayo to portions being served then salt and pepper to taste.

    Some also get some mustard.

I love coleslaw made my way and can't stand those sugary and vinegary confections they sell here.
