Your first rendition came through fine for me. Holy Crap, you boned them!
I've cleaned a thousand trout and never considered boning them raw.
I have filleted them occasionally, if they're big enough.

I worry when I think of Steve eating fish. He might go into saturated

Not a blocknews user and NOT John, but I can see this post on
    eternal-september (also the Highwinds post).

Does blocknews have multiple servers? Have you tried another server?
Have you tried another port? How about a combination of different
    server:port?

John type question - have you double checked your filters?

From what I can see, you're posting as normal.

I've used for a few years with no problems. A few times a post did not

I have never been a good enough fisherman to have to worry about
cleaning and boning. Most of the time we just gutted them cooked them
and then pulled the cooked flesh off the bones. I buy Rainbow Trout and Steelhead fillets that have been boned so I don't have to deal with it.
One time many years ago I went to a local trout farm and bought four
trout that I had planned to stuff. I should have asked the owner to bone
them for me. I had no idea that it would be such a challenging job for
me. It took a long time for me to do it. I stuffed them with shrimp and scallops and stuff and they were delicious but it would have been so
much easier if I had not had to deal with the boning.

You didn't accidentally k/f yourself, did you? ;) I just reinstated E-S because Blocknews seems to be dropping some posts lately. Yet I was
able to see both your posts about Trout on both newsservers.

I just got home, though. I haven't actually read much of anything here yet.

You didn't answer her question about why didn't you take the head (or
the tail) off the trout. I want to know why you put what appears to be
cream gravy with lots of pepper on top of it. A trout ain't a biscuit. ;)

As for mac & cheese being a "vegetable" in the South, I have always
wondered why it showed up on certain restaurant menus under "vegetable
sides". It never did make sense to me. But yes, between the mac &
cheese and the fries there are plenty of carbs on that plate. :)

Looks like you left a lot of meat on there, but filleting fish takes a
lot of practice and a very sharp knife.

I've never seen a butterflied fish before but it looks outstanding!

You've never seen a butterflied fish!?!? You can't butterfly a
tuna, mackerel, or marlin due to the bone structure. But a trout,
salmon, or cod is perfect for that prep.

The trimmings were simmered briefly and made into a salty stock
which I drank added to Clamato this morning (after having left out
all night). And I picked some of the meat off the bones after it
brined all night in the salty stock. That was almost the best
    part.
