If you look at the headers, they indicate a time of -0800 (PST). I
assume that means the servers are in the pacific time zone. No
indication of what time of day they will stop reading/writing to
usenet. I'm not even sure what day that will happen. The first
notices I saw on usenet said googlegroups would stop interacting with
usenet on Feb 15. Breaking the connections with peers is supposed to
happen Feb 22.
Usenet is so unimportant to google, I'm sure some peon will be
assigned the task and it take several failed attempts to sucessfully
shut down the googlegroups-usenet interface.
I don't believe anything will happen until I actually see it. A long
time ago the google credo was "Do no evil". That's no longer true.

By the way, are you and the most western socialite here going to
actively try to have the last groogle word? Sure, regardless if
you try to post just prior to being obviated, one of you will
post something slightly more retarded than the other.
Google does not specify the time zone of the main Usenet - Google

pureley based on gross physical parameters. (i.e. he is in the
world's most retarded time zone.)
Yoose Usenet dinosaurs never seem to get your attributions straight. Yoose should ditch your chickenshit "real" newsreader and live in the modern world. My father-in-law was a crackerjack computer guy but he never was able to understand modern
As far as Google goes, my guess is it's days of eminence are waning. In the future, we won't be doing Google searches, AI will be doing the research for us and showing us the way. My guess is that yoose antiques will be still be using search engines.yoose deserves. Yoose gets the last word.
As far as 2/22/24 goes, only dinosaurs and trailer trash are afraid of the future and change. I don't have any problems/fears about that. I'll have moved on and yoose guys will still be stuck here until you die - or rfc fizzles out. That's the life
