I'd watch it but I don't have the DVD. I don't believe that there's a DVD player in this house. I'm just going to have to stream it. That calls for a certain amount of luck and faith.

I would say it is worth ordering the DVD if you can't find it. Maybe you >local library has it. It was on my satellite a few months ago, but I

It's available to stream on Hulu, YouTube, Apple TV, Amazon Prime,
Google Play Movies, and Vudu. Some of those charge about four bucks
to let you watch it.

DVDs are very boomerish, but not as boomerish as watching linear TV,
like Jill does.

It is not available in our local library but there is a regional
cooperative library system involving about 30 library branches and it is >available. I just checked it out because I was trying to find another
movie that I can not find steaming on any of my services. I ordered it.
It is in the Fort Erie library so it will be sent to my local library
and I can pick it up in a day or two.

He's referring to the DVD itself, not the player.
It's not difficult to scratch a DVD so that it is unplayable. I don't
know how many we got from Blockbuster and then Netflix that appeared to
have been used for concrete finishing.

How often do you rewatch a movie 80 years later?

I do if it's a particularly a good one. It might be a year or more
before I view it again, though.
It will probably still be available at a streaming service, and
probable at more and more of them. No hunting required.

Availbe doesn't mean free. Growing are 'limited time' where you can go
back and stream it for a year then you have to repurchase.
