I just found this newspaper page from August 1, 1929. https://shsmo.newspapers.com/image/493567488/?terms=dent

My great uncle (Elliot Simmons) sold a calf for "over $70" back in
1929, and his son, my first cousin, once removed (Clark Simmons) was
the champion haystacker. Meanwhile, my great Aunt Laura (Cope) "went
to pick berries left and her week-old chicks fastened in an old house
and along came a neighbor's sow and had a fine meal; ate 64 chicks."
My father (Buster) was in St. Louis with his grandmother visiting his
    mother, Miss Mary Simmons.

So this is the history of simmon inbreeding. Your daddy was your
mothers 1/2 brother. Buster is really your mommas brothe??r.. It's all
clear now. Not even white trash... more like a murky grayish kinda
Trash. Was the sow a great aunt or great uncle also?
