My first bowl of cereal in about 43 years. Which is exactly how
    much it cost.

First person to get it is automatically disqualified for cheating.

I've never heard of 'Carmela Creeper' (but I'm sure Bryan has).
She's about as sexy as that Elvira thing. And it tastes nothing
like caramel apples. But it was $.43/box...A huge hit with the
    kids, apparently.

    methinks you paid too much.

    1st guess - Post ghosties
2md guess - St Patricks Day Lucky Charms

That's a new one for me even if it is as old as the hills. I'm going to take a guess and say it's Brussel sprouts cereal or maybe it's broccoli. It
    could even be spinach.

This tougher than I thought considering I already gave the answer
    and even the "flavor".

The name of the cereal is "Carmella Creeper". I originally
thought it was named after some well-known cartoon or animated
kid's movie, such is how the marketing towards children goes.

But now I realize there weren't movies or cartoons named "Count
Chocula", "Captain Crunch", "Yummy Mummy", or "Frankenberry"
either. And "Carmella Creeper" lived a very short afterlife (at
    $.43/box)

Bryan doesn't eat any of those disgusting cereals. I haven't eaten
Cap'n Crunch, Lucky Charms, Froot Loops or any of that since I was a
small child. If I were going to eat sugary cereal it'd probably be this. https://www.greatgrains.com/products/blueberry-nut-crunch/

I originally thought Cramella Creeper was a kids cartoon, which is
why it would have been applicable to you.

That's fun. The kids like watching the old Pink Panther episodes on
    YouTube.
