Any chance you could use a spatula, instead. They seem pretty similar
and are much easier to get.
Or try https://www.amazon.com/sp?ie=UTF8&seller=AXE4ZNVN0L8WG&asin=B003UERCR2&ref_=dp_merchant_link&isAmazonFulfilled=1
which sells your brand of spatula. Maybe they know where to get the
knife too.

It is a spatula:
https://www.amazon.com/Good-Cook-Touch-Spatula-Spreader/dp/B0028LZ6MG
It appears to be a silicone version of the classic icing spatula.
Judging by the crack displayed in the picture "she" posted, Indira
has been exceeding either its strength or heat capabilities. Or both.

Didn't realize that was a crack either.

It's pretty specialized. Unless you're a cake decorator (or a big ol'
food nerd) you might not realize that right off the bat.

It might be a cut. Which you're not supposed to do to silicone
utensils, either. But it looks like that might be where the inner >reinforcing element ends. It also has a chunk out of the "spine"
near the tip.
You could use it for spreading mayo on a sandwich and dredging the
last bit out of the mayo jar.

Yes, afaik all spatulas look like my monther's spatula, with a narrow stick-type handle and a wider cream-colored rubber spat. AFAIK all
others are interlopers, and probably Communist.

A "mayoula"
I don't care about a spatula's politics. I care about its function.

That's my least favorite style. Crud gets into the hole where the
handle goes.
I don't care about a spatula's politics. I care about its function.
And, I take it you don't own a spatula, since you referred to your
mother's spatula.
You could use it for spreading mayo on a sandwich and dredging the

It's not limited to that, of course. Just this morning I used a
spatula to get the last of the yogurt out of a quart tub.

I just might need to look at some of those to replace the old one.
What it needs to be is long and thick with a soft silicone bendy edge.
Unfortunately, the new Good Cook spatula is too thin on the width.
Here is the new Good Cook (Amazon B0028LZ6MG) next to the old. https://i.postimg.cc/X7T9YcJj/newgoodcook.jpg

that thing?
Same thing everyone uses a spatula for in the kitchen, silly. :-)
Cindy Hamilton mentioned a few - as it's a fantastic tool for what it
does.
I make my own mayonnaise out of a cup of light olive oil, juice of a
lemon,
some salt, a whole egg (I'm too lazy to separate the white from the yolk)
and a tad of mustard powder and then I hand blend it into real
mayonnaise.
But then you need to scoop the emulsion out of the tupperware container.
Why waste fresh homemade mayonnaise leaving it in the jar to wash off?
Let's say I'm making spinach soup, which is a 1/4 pound of butter, boiled white potatoes and a cup and a half of spinach blended together - and
then
cooked corn kernels sprinkled in with a few select spices & heated on the stovetop in a large pot to eat (but you always make more, for later).
After you eat, it's time to clean up where there's still two or three
meals
left in the pot, which you duly pour into Rubbermaid tupperware
containers.
(By the way, if you know where I can get them inexpensive, let me know as they're now $18 each at Costco, which is highway robber if you ask me.)
After you pour the thick molasses-like spinach soup out into tupperware containers, you leave at least a half of a cup (or more) in the pot.
These spatulas are perfect for scraping it out of the pot, which is good
for the environment, good for your septic system, and good for the belly.
Note that the little two-inch-long one-inch-wide spatulas are
worthless. They're like using the wrong sized screwdriver to do the
job wrong.
Putting in a way for the men to understand, it's like using a #2 Phillips screwdriver when you need a number #3. It will eventually work.
But it's not as efficient or pleasant to use as the right tool for the
job.

as I need to take some photos of why Rubbermaid is the best brand for me.
