This Wednesday, May 1, 9--11:30 p.m., at Folk Night at The Ship Pub in
St. John’s, Newfoundland, the headliners are The Panting Brothers,
jointly presented by Folk Night and DanceNL.

There is an open mic set between the two headline sets and open mic
performers get a free Quidi Vidi beer. Also there are door prizes, which are usually $10 gift certificates donated by sponsors. Also the kitchen is open until 8 p.m. (but may take the last order at 7:45 p.m.). Cover is only $5.

Labrador Folk Arts Society invite you to a dance party with the Panting Bros. There will be plenty of trad tunes and crowd favourites! Come down for a
scuff, or sit and listen for a spell!

Between them, Dave, Geoff and Sean Panting share a long history in the St. John’s music and theatre scene. Credits include Figgy Duff, Rawlins Cross, Sheilagh’s Brush, Drive, The Planks, Republic Of Doyle and the Feast Of Cohen, among others.

Their live gigs are a fast and loose mix of original tunes and original approaches to traditional, blues and roots music."
