Sassy has had a goopy eye for a month or so. Antibiotics didn't help.
Had Jim look at it while he was here to do teeth on a boarder's horse:
he agreed that it looked like a tumor. Last week he came out and
removed it. Surgery went well but when an 1800 lb mare just coming out
of anesthesia decides that she is GOING TO LEAVE RIGHT NOW things get
hectic. Fortunately I was able to steer her so that she didn't plow
straight through the feed preparation area on her way to the door and
Robin got the door open in time.
The eye is still draining but seems to be healing.
