  • death of a friend

    I found out some horrible news the other day. I have a friend named
    Sarah Steffee, and not too long ago, I posted a letter on this news
    group saying that I was looking for her number because she moved and
    I lost touch with her. Anyway, I found out the other day that she
    passed away. She was in her late 20's, and she was found dead in her apartment. She died of heart failure.
    Sarah Steffee lived in California, and she was very active on the hunter/jumper circuit. I new her when she rode with me at the
    Las Colinas Equestrian Center in Dallas, Texas. We both trained
    with Phil Devita, who now lives in Florida. She was an excellent rider;
    she competed at Grand Prix level. She had a jumper named "Picard" and a hunter stallion named "All the Gold".
    Anyway, I am terribly upset about this. I was just wondering if anyone
    new her. She was such a sweet girl and so much fun to be around. Her
    death is most certainly a great loss.

    I am replying over 10 years too late. I went to the same school as Sarah. I was an awkward kid and she was so kind to me. I knew she rode, but I had stopped riding and didn't know her wonderful skills until later in life. I, too, was shocked and sad
    to learn of her passing. She was also a wonderful photographer.

    Hi Lacey,

    I knew Sarah when we were youths in Ohio. I've wanted to talk with anyone about her (especially who ever investigated her death), but never knew who to approach (her mother passed away a few years ago). Do you know anything about who to speak with in

    I am trying to find Lacy Conners. I know this is a long shot but was hopeing To find out about Sarah Steffee. I know she passed but everywhere I turn know one wants to talk about her. Thank you. Ron Bennett jr.

    Hello hope this is right person. I know this is a long shot. My name is Ron Bennett jr. I am trying to find out about Sarah Steffee. Everyone I talk to will not talk about her. Not sure why. I did not know she passed till last year when me and my wife
