Share your sorrow. I think it was you who provided the necessary advice
on putting down a horse - on the cross made by two lines from the ear to
the contralateral eye, towards the neck - a sad task that befell me two
years ago, when my horse broke his hind leg: the tibia near the patella.
Cold comfort that one 380 round dropped him dead - and a back-hoe nudged
him into a deep grave.
