• Why did Richard Nixon hate the new generation?

Why did Richard Nixon hate the new generation,
the new rising youth in USA, so intensely?

Why did he initiate the infamous "War on Drugs"?

Simply because psychedelics made many people
to wake up. They became too wise and the
establishment did not like that. It is easier
for politicians rule people who are brain-washed
    and ignorant.

If regular folks are able to think for themselves,
they can become a serious threat because they no
longer believe the lies that politicians and priests
    usually spit out.

The new generation no longer wanted to chase
delusion like The American Dream ("from rags
to riches"). Instead they became more intested
in worthy things like arts and sciences.

This video by Tim Leary & Friends is quite
good except for one thing: I really don't
believe that a single neuron is "as powerful
    as a large computer".

As far as I know, a single neuron is an
extremely simple device that has only two
distinct states: Firing or Not-Firing, making
it easy to model using a digital computer and
    a single bit.

Anyway, here is the video on YouTube:

    Have a nice weekend.
