    A yeast strain obtained in the process was used to bake bread, but
    presumably this could yield ancient brewing yeast strains too.

    It sounds like the process is still being refined and needs further testing
    to be sure the strains are actually ancient and not the result of later contamination. Still, it would be interesting if someone like Wyeast or Fermentis brought one to market some day.
