Is there anyone out there with a SABB diesel? (Not Saab)
I would like to know if it is possible to obtain parts for these
    Norwegian built engines.
I am interested in a boat which has an 18 hp SABB diesel auxilliary; a
letter in the November issue of Latitude 38 indicated that it was
impossible to obtain parts for these engines. If you have a SABB engine >> and know where to obtain parts, I would greatly appreciate that
    information.
    Thanks

what's the difference between a Saab and a Sabb two cylinder 18hp?
I believe that a "SAAB" was an automobile built by Saab Automobile AB,
a Swedish car maker while "SABB" seems to be made by the SABB Motor
AS. In October 2006 the company was bought by Frydenbø Industri AS,
and changed name to Frydenbø Sabb Motor AS, who seem to make diesel
    marine engines.

SABB lists an address on their web site:

    Frydenbø Sabb Motor
    Damsgårdsveien 113
    P.B 7170
    5020 Bergen
    Phone: 55 34 88 00

Contact Sleeman and Hawken, sales@sleeman-hawken.co.uk. I've bought from them several times. Very quick and helpful
