A conservative Florida radio host who spoke out against Covid-19 vaccines
died after a weekslong fight with the virus, marking the third radio
personality to die from coronavirus who publicly rejected vaccines.

If Silly was still in office he'd award them the Presidential Medal of Freedom during a SOTU address no doubt.

I do find it interesting how much joy these compassionate liberals
find with the suffering and death of others. They parade every Covid
death of a conservative like the Taliban hanging a victim from a
Blackhawk and flying it over Kabul.

I am not gloating about the 18% of hospitalized patients at Lee Health
who were fully vaccinated nor the one that just died yesterday. I only
feel bad for their families and friends.

All preventable deaths are regrettable, and a heartache for those who were close to them. I think you'd have to admit however that there is a certain irony to some of these avowed (and vocal) anti-vaxers becoming infected. They swallowed their own kool
aid and became Darwin award candidates as a result.

It still doesn't explain the joy some folks get from their suffering.
There are a couple of people on another NG I visit who treat every
non-vaxed death like winning the Super Bowl.
I did think it was interesting that NBC-2 was saying 20% of the people
at LeMo were vaccinated and 5.5% died
The 5.5% story is still up on their web page but they seemed to spike
the 20% story, leaving a 16% story there.
I took the shots and I will get the booster but beyond that I am
getting on with my life although I never really stopped. The only
thing I am not doing is getting on a plane or going to the movies but
I was not a real fan of either 2 years ago.

You can't get too much of a good thing. Or so they say.

    ===

All preventable deaths are regrettable, and a heartache for those who were close to them. I think you'd have to admit however that there is a certain irony to some of these avowed (and vocal) anti-vaxers becoming infected. They swallowed their own
kool aid and became Darwin award candidates as a result.

    ===

The shots work. People who get them have greatly reduced risk for severe illness and death. It's an important message that needs to be widely spread. Given the past success of vaccines preventing diseases like small pox and polio, it seems incredible
to me that there is so much distrust and misinformation circulating.

Wayne, I think we can thank YouTube, Twitter, Instagram and a polarized citizenship the likes of which we have never seen .... at least in my time.

If we don't wake up and start paying attention soon, we're screwed.

Part of this, is this in not like any other vaccine. Most used dead or
live of the virus or a close relative. This seems to be a DNA/RNA
modifier. Which is scary I itself.

    1. Not at all. DJT was one of the most toxic personalities to ever lead this country and his damage lingers on.

    2. The current administration has nothing to do with the vaccine. It was developed under the administration of your hero, and he was one of the first to get vaccinated with it. Believe what you want however. Maybe you'll be lucky, or maybe you'll be
a statistic. Personally, I like the odds to be in my favor.

You can't confuse a 99.99% effective vaccine like polio and small pox
with something that may only work 80% of the time. We still do not
have a clue how many asymptomatic breakthrough infections are out
there but it is clear this is not a path to herd immunity. It is good
at making this a virus like the flu tho. Among the vaccinated I
suspect the death rate will be similar.
I am not against getting vaccinated and I will get boosters whenever
they are offered (I get flu shots too) but I also know I may still get
    the covid.
"Herd immunity" in this case will be like our resistance to other
common viruses such as the various flus. We won't die like an Amazon
tribesman might because we have some antibodies built up but we still
may get sick for a week or two and a few might die.
It is clear we are not going to make this disappear without something completely different coming along..

    Incredible.===Old saying: You can't fix stupid.Statistical fact:

Half the population has an IQ less than 100.
    Biden voters no doubt.
How many shots do you suppose has Bowser gotten?
You can't get too much of a good thing. Or so they say.
I do find it interesting how much joy these compassionate liberals
find with the suffering and death of others. They parade every Covid >>>> death of a conservative like the Taliban hanging a victim from a
Blackhawk and flying it over Kabul.

I am not gloating about the 18% of hospitalized patients at Lee Health >>>> who were fully vaccinated nor the one that just died yesterday. I only >>>> feel bad for their families and friends.

    ===

All preventable deaths are regrettable, and a heartache for those who
were close to them. I think you'd have to admit however that there is a >>> certain irony to some of these avowed (and vocal) anti-vaxers becoming >>> infected. They swallowed their own kool aid and became Darwin award
    candidates as a result.

    ==
The shots work. People who get them have greatly reduced risk for severe illness and death. It's an important message that needs to be widely spread. Given the past success of vaccines preventing diseases like
small pox and polio, it seems incredible to me that there is so much distrust and misinformation circulating.

Part of this, is this in not like any other vaccine. Most used dead or
live of the virus or a close relative. This seems to be a DNA/RNA
modifier. Which is scary I itself.

    ===

I believe the DNA/RNA modifier theory is a misconception, and I'm not sure who is responsible for spreading it. It's actually kind of interesting science - tricking our immune system into producing Covid anti-bodies without causing the disease.

    Incredible.

    ===

Old saying: You can't fix stupid.

Statistical fact: Half the population has an IQ less than 100.

Wrong fact. The average IQ is 100, not the median IQ.

    ===

In a normal distribution the median and average are very close together.

Not really in IQ I think. 65% are between 85 and 105.

IQ is a made up number that means little in real life and I say that
as a guy who scores high on those tests. I actually do well on just
about any test. If I could just take a test I could be a doctor,
    lawyer or Indian Chief.

Actually I did think about taking a bar exam once, just to see how I
would do, before they started requiring that you went to law school
    first.

That would correspond to roughly two standard deviations from the mean, about what you'd expect from a normal distribution, and certainly in line with my assertion that half the population is less than 100.

That wass then. This is now. Only a fool would trust the current
    administration.

The government as a whole, under both administrations, has handled
this affair so poorly that I doubt half the people really believe what
    the government says.
If you don't like what they say, wait a week, it will change.
I also notice how they manipulate the numbers and the spin they put on
    all of them.
You see things like "80% of the people in the hospital are
    unvaccinated".
They don't say "one out of every five the people in the hospital got
both shots and ended up there anyway".

I'm not sure if I qualify as a member of the lowly populace, but I have confidence that Biden will not spread lies and conspiracy theories as a way to perpetuate his term of office. I also have confidence that he will not try to undermine our electoral
process or democratic institutions, and inspire mobs of unhinged rioters to do the same. I also have confidence that Biden will not work to further polarize the country by inspiring hatred among our fellow citizens.

I am just hoping Biden can hold on for 3 more years so we don't get
Kneepad Harris. Based on her numbers, I doubt she will be on the 24
ticket but I don't want to see a 25th amendment ascension.

I actually give Biden a little credit for being willing to eat that
Afghan turd. It wasn't going to get better.
I do think we could have removed more of our hardware first but I also understand it is only pieces of metal and we make them here. It
    creates employment.
If the Taliban does piss off the Russians it will be a more

We should just stay out and watch.

Hate Trump till you die if you don't care to deal with the

I actually give Biden a little credit for being willing to eat that
Afghan turd. It wasn't going to get better.
I do think we could have removed more of our hardware first but I also
understand it is only pieces of metal and we make them here. It
    creates employment.
If the Taliban does piss off the Russians it will be a more
interesting war. We won't need Charley Wilson. They have good stuff
    now.
We should just stay out and watch.

I think Biden had no choice but to eat the turd. Trump made sure the >President this term had to eat it. Biden should have prepared the turd >better.

Trump was hoping to be the guy who ate it. It would be interesting if
he did have a better plan but I doubt it. I am sure he would be
catching a lot more hell about how things worked out. They would be
accusing him of being in bed with the Taliban and such.

A conservative Florida radio host who spoke out against Covid-19
vaccines died after a weekslong fight with the virus, marking the
third radio personality to die from coronavirus who publicly
    rejected vaccines.

If Silly was still in office he'd award them the Presidential
Medal of Freedom during a SOTU address no doubt.

    Incredible.

I was channel hopping last night when I came across a discussion of
covid. It turned out to be a televangelist and he spouted a load of ignorant comments about the vaccine and pushed Ivermectin and Hydroxychloroquine.

What the hell is it with these dumbos? It's bad enough that they
enrich themselves by fleecing the gullible but persuading them to
    risk their lives is immoral.
It's been amazing to see just how deluded a portion of the public is.

About 0.5% of the population is said to have a psychotic disorder.
That's 1.6 million in America and 0.3 million in the UK. I bet
there's a high proportion of Covid idiocy amongst them.

I begin to question whether people with such highly distorted thinking
should have the vote. However this would be open to abuse.

Really, now?? Are you saying that governments and the largest corporations and other organizations haven't yet purged those who "abuse" from their ranks?

I'd like to say I agree with you Wayne but I can't and don't.

I witness Biden lying almost everyday, from his education, number
of degrees, places he claims he has visited and assurances that
troops would remain in Afghanistan until all American citizens
who want to leave have been evacuated.

To me, Biden is a perfect example of a career politician with nothing noteworthy to claim as performance. He graduated 75th in a class of
85 from law school in 1968, partly because he plagiarized a law review
article, obtained five student draft deferments and then a medical
deferment because "he had asthma as a kid".

He has never held a private sector job .... well, maybe he mowed
lawns as a kid until his asthma forced him to stop. :-)

No, I have no respect at all for Biden. He's an empty suit
going through the motions, saying what he is told to say.

Have you watched Biden get upset when someone asks him a question that
is not on his cue cards? Sometimes he stumbles through a non-answer
but more often he just blows them off. A few days ago I watched him
getting mad about a question that was not on the list.

    SILVER ALERT-
There's a 78 year old male in DC who has lost his mind and his
identity. Be on the alert. He thinks he is President. He is
responsible for the death of 13 military. He is dangerous. Do not
    aproach.

What trial? You are confusing him with Cuomo. I guess all New Yorkers
    look alike to you.

That wass then. This is now. Only a fool would trust the current
    administration.

Thanks Donald. Do you miss him yet?

    ===

    1. Not at all. DJT was one of the most toxic personalities to ever lead this country and his damage lingers on.

    2. The current administration has nothing to do with the vaccine. It was developed under the administration of your hero, and he was one of the first to get vaccinated with it. Believe what you want however. Maybe you'll be lucky, or maybe you'll be a
statistic. Personally, I like the odds to be in my favor.
I think you're the first liberal who's given Trump the credit he deserves for
the vaccine. Your president sure as hell hasn't.

    Freedom Isn't Free!

    ===

The vaccines were indisputably developed on Trump's watch and he certainly supported that development. I suspect they would have been developed regardless however. What Trump didn't do was support measures to stop the spread of Covid and we're still
living with the fallout from that. Even getting vaccinated, which should be a no brainer, has become politicized.

The anti vax crowd was started by people who reject all vaccines but
the number of highly educated people and the number of doctors and
nurses who are refusing the shot does make you question it a little.
I am old and I don't care about long term effects, I just want to
squeak out another decade or two. I get all the vaccines they will
    give me.

Hate Trump till you die if you don't care to deal with the
reality. Trump has some personality issues, sure, but he
governed well. Biden doesn't have anything going for him that
instills confidence by the lowly populace.

    ==
I'm not sure if I qualify as a member of the lowly populace, but I have
confidence that Biden will not spread lies and conspiracy theories as a
way to perpetuate his term of office. I also have confidence that he
will not try to undermine our electoral process or democratic
institutions, and inspire mobs of unhinged rioters to do the same. I
also have confidence that Biden will not work to further polarize the
country by inspiring hatred among our fellow citizens.

I don’t t share your thoughts on Biden and the Democrats. Trump in 75
years will probably be seen in retrospect as one of the better Presidents
in the last 100 years. Except, for, his, personality, he did a good job as >POTUS. He did not start any new wars, got us out of the Middle East
debacle, which Biden screwed the pooch on. Lots of time to make sure the >withdrawals was well planned. Hate between our fellow citizens? Nobody
can top Obama. There needs to be questions about our election process.
When some areas have more voters than residents. Look at the amount of
votes Chicago dead people have been casting for years. ID? What a lame >argument. Even the poor have to show ID to go to the doctor. The
Democrats have already undermined our nomination process. Bernie got more >votes, but the super votes of the party trumped any primary win. Was Trump
a Great POTUS? Nope, but he was one of the better ones.

You are truly stupid. I'm sure the 620,000 American who died really
appreciate you being a PIECE of SHIT.

Not exactly. The have been working on this for decades.

"Severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) and Middle
East respiratory syndrome (MERS) are two diseases
caused by coronaviruses closely related to the virus
that causes COVID-19. Researchers began working on
developing vaccines for these diseases after they were
    discovered in 2003 and 2012, respectively. "

When COVID emerged the researchers used what they had learned to quickly make the vaccine. Trump removed the government roadblocks and got it to the general population quickly.

have confidence that Biden will not work to further polarize the country by inspiring hatred among our fellow citizens.

Have you listened to Joe Biden attempting to put a coherent
sentence together? How embarrassing for the Democrat party.
What's next? Karmella? Nanci? God help us all.

    Racist shithead...
