The sports media is not giving Jones the credit he deserves.
Watching the game I was thinking, "Holy crap, with some more
experience we may have another Brady coming along".

If that 56 yard field goal (kicked by a player with an
injured foot) had been two or three inches to the right when it
hit the goal post, it could have just as easily bounced
through the uprights and the Patriots would have been
    the victors.

    Good game.

The game was a real nail biter played under really tough conditions. It could have gone either way. Jones did a great job and looks to have a bright future.

Yeah, the field goal attempt was made with less than a minute left in
the game. Mac Jones did very well for a 23 year old rookie. His
performance was overshadowed by the media's coverage of Brady's "return"
and his relationship with Belichick (which is fine). I'll tell ya
though, Belichick's son is a scary looking dude.

For example, Jones completed 31 of 40 pass attempts for a total of
275 yards and two touchdowns. Plus, he did a couple of razzle dazzle
plays, handing off to his wide receiver Jakobi Meyers, (who was a
high school quarterback) and who completed 2 for 2 for an additional 45
passing yards. The Bucks scored first with a field goal but after that
Jones and the Pats held the lead for most of the game.

Brady completed only 22 of 43 pass attempts for a total of 269 yards
    and no touchdowns.

Unless he gets hurt, I think Mac Jones shows a lot of promise as he
    gains more experience.

If Brady had a decent receiver playing last night it would have been a
50 point game. I could have come down with some of those balls and I
    am 75.

Jakobi Meyers must have been named after his Mom's divorce lawyer ;)

Belichick looked like he was hugging his ex at the end. Most of the
Pats guys looked like they really liked Brady. Belichick not so much.
