A jury has acquitted lawyer Michael Sussmann on the charge of lying to
the FBI, dealing a blow to special counsel John Durham, who the Trump administration appointed to look into the Mueller probe. Verdict was
unanimous, took only six hours. The AG should tell Durham to shut down

The jury consisted of friends and relatives. Was the verdict ever
in doubt? The stench in DC must be pretty unbearable, even for

He was acquitted of telling the FBI that he wasn't speaking for
Hillary and the DNC, in spite of the fact that they were his client.
(By a DC jury full of Democrats.)
The "Russian collusion" lie wasn't part of that verdict and it was
    fairly well debunked.
If the alleged "collusion' was convincing Putin not to invade Ukraine
on Trump's watch, it worked. Both Obama and Biden have watched Putin
roll over Ukraine's border. Russia was pretty quiet 2017-2020. Europe
had all the oil and gas they wanted and we were paying $2.50 for
regular. Inflation was <1% if you believe the Fed.
Hate the arrogant bastard if you like but we were doing better.

We were doing better but it wasn't built to last. You can't keep printing money, aka, Quantitative Easing without getting inflation and an overheated economy. The only thing that surprises me is how long it took. It will probably take a recession to
cool things off. That's the usual outcome and it should come as no surprise.

I dunna know. 1600 is usually the last to know and the slowest to

According to Pelosi, the inflation is because of low unemployment and

We were doing better but it wasn't built to last. You can't keep printing money, aka, Quantitative Easing without getting inflation and an overheated economy. The only thing that surprises me is how long it took.

Yup, QE and the fed printing money really started with GWB. Clinton
had the banks and Wall Street printing money for him. Bush inherited
that. It did last far longer than I have been predicting but politics
is like musical chairs. Nothing happens until the music stops then the president at the time finds out there is no place to sit.
    This is Biden's stagflation.

It will probably take a recession to cool things off. That's the usual outcome and it should come as no surprise.

The difference between this and a real recession is there are plenty
of jobs. I suppose when things really get hard, that $15-20 an hour
job will start looking good to that unskilled person sitting it out
    now.
The job market will tighten up tho.
My fear is this could really be the big one (crash of the world
economy) if this Russian thing doesn't get settled soon.
This needs a "deal" that neither of them will like. Putin's opening
offer was actually pretty attractive in retrospect. Trump might have
taken it or at least countered.
Biden still has that cold war mentality along with a bunch of the old
farts in congress. That is why we have an $800 billion defense budget.
These war mongers are going to keep fucking around until we get a real
world war. Then we will all be out of everything and money will be
    gold ammo and MREs.

This ain't FDR's America. We don't make shit here and we are running
out of critical resources. We are also "touchable". WWIII will not be
    an away game.

The problem is how many unemployed we really have and are not counted
because they don't want a job. There are 18 million fewer workers now
than there were 22 years ago.

Stop the presses at the Fed. and see how fast inflation comes to a
screeching halt. Stop the graft and corruption in D.C. and the
Clintons Pelosis and Bidens will have to go on medicaid and
    welfare.

The longest lasting post tsar leaders in Russia lasted about 30 years.
(Stalin and Krushchev) Most lasted much shorter times. Putin is going
on 24 right now. This war is not helping his popularity much.

One of the TV media interviewed about 8 people on the street in

course it may have been fear of retribution.

I am not surprised. The US has had similar feelings about small
countries we bombed, early in the war.
When the cost becomes apparent (money and blood) public opinion can
    flip pretty fast.

We still should have looked at taking Putin's deal when it was
offered. I doubt this will ever turn out better than that. Destroying
Ukraine was certainly not the best option even if the Russians are
    forced to withdraw.
When this is all over the Donbas will still want independence from
Ukraine, I doubt Putin will give back the Crimea and NATO membership
is still not likely in any short term.
    That was all he wanted.
He is finding out now Donbas wasn't going to roll over for Russia
either but they probably would have been Russia leaning like Belasrus.
    .

He was acquitted of telling the FBI that he wasn't speaking for
Hillary and the DNC, in spite of the fact that they were his client.
(By a DC jury full of Democrats.)
The "Russian collusion" lie wasn't part of that verdict and it was

If the alleged "collusion' was convincing Putin not to invade Ukraine
