    Hello,

I have recently been given an old fiberglass tri-hull style powerboat with no motor or trailer. It is 13’ 5” in length. The manufacturer seems to have
been West Wind of Tampa, FL. The boat has a squared-off bow and a walk-through windshield leading to a little foredeck with a little rail around it. The aluminum “data plate”, which specifies the weight capacity,
max power, serial number and etc., has been rendered unreadable by exposure to the elements.

Can anyone tell me anything about this particular model? Specifically, I am interested to know:
    1. Legal maximum weight capacity (persons and pounds)?
    2. Maximum recommended HP?
    3. Dates these were made?
    4. Is the company still in business or under a new name?
    5. If anyone knows of one of these boats, what HP is on it and how does it do with that power?

    Thanks for any replies.

    Mike

It sounds like a West Wind Triadyne. I knew someone in St. Petersburg, Florida named John McMasters, whose family had one around 1967. That's all I can tell you about the boat.
