    Cheeky little buggers ain't they ! Did you know that the male builds
    the nest , and the female approves of his work ? Or not ... he may have
    to build 2 or 3 or more before she accepts one . I was unable to use my
    table saw one summer (didn't really need it anyway ...) because a pair
    had a nest in it .

    They're very noisy when they sing. :) Yes, I did know the female is
    picky and the guy does most of the work.

    When I lived in west TN a pair built a nest in a grapevine wreath I had
    hanging on the front door. It was a glass paned door so I could see the
    birds in the nest from the inside. I took to exiting by the back door
    so as not to disturb them.

    Where I live now there are "message boxes" underneath the individual
    mailboxes. For flyers and such. The Carolina wrens find them the
    perfect place to built a nest. They stuff them with Spanish moss and
    leaves and whatever fluff they find. You never know where you might
    find a nest. :)
