    Hi,

Read this in our local new source:

"Woodpeckers pack 700 pounds of acorns in walls of California Airbnb"

    https://www.mlive.com/news/2023/02/woodpeckers-pack-700-pounds-of-acorns-in-walls-of-california-airbnb.html

I'd read about something similar years ago at a remote radio tower
site. Woodpeckers had filled a covered dish antenna cavity with acorns.
Service tech found it while investigating poor signal problems :-)

Too funny! I saw a Nature program on PBS last year about woodpeckers.
They showed a particular type of woodpecker literally pecking holes in a
tree and stuffing acorns into the holes. The tree appeared studded with
    them. :)
