• What bird sounds like a "jungle bird"?

    I think that's it, thanks. What I hear sounds most like No. 3 on the
    sounds page. It makes sense because I knew they were real shy and I
    rarely see them near the house, it's always a treat when I see one.
    Wonder if they have those in Africa too, lol.

    You may be thinking of the Kookaburra Bird. Seems to have been
    popular in old films for that night time jungle sound :)
