I don't get to see hawks close enough to be able to identify Cooper's or Sharp Shinned. I just happened to look out the window and spotted this
one and had the camera handy:

Hidden in/by brush as that bird is, my vote would be for a Sharp-Shinned rather than a Cooper’s Hawk.
