I just watched this biographical program about Major Taylor:

It's well worth watching. I've long thought that Taylor deserved a lot
more recognition than he's gotten. Such an incredible athlete, and such
an admirable man! I know his recognition has increased in the last 25
years or so, but he deserves more.

The show lists at about 90 minutes, but roughly half an hour is requests >>> for PBS donations. You can fast forward past those, if you care to.

I am in agreement with you concerning Major Taylor. But I undeerstand
that the movie concerne more about his discrimination rather than his
accomplishments. That is an insult of the highest kevel.

Gee, here's a thought: How about you actually watch the movie before you
make a comment on what you 'understand' the movie to be about? It's
    free, after all.

    I am getting
very tired of things designed to separate people rather than bring
    them together.

Let's repeat that lest there be any confusion

    I am getting
very tired of things designed to separate people rather than bring
    them together.

    Irony defined.

Not surprising if it was done by PBS. I can't comment further because
that's not the kind of thing I'd watch.
