    Does everyone else think like me that the lowest cog means the lowest gear ratio, eg: the largest one?

    To me they meant to say "smallest" instead of lowest.

    Do you get many bicycles for repair where the rider has chosen the one gear they like and has never shifted to another gear and then wonders why the cables are seized?

    I used to see a lot of such bicycles in shops where I worked.
