It doesnt effect his survival skills at all, if true. Perhaps its true, perhaps its not.

So Just letting you know that I am Ron Hoods Son Jesse Hood and just for your information My father did do service in Vietnam and turkey during my fathers memorial he was Given a Flag for his Service that me and my mom Karen Hood still have and his
