I like the basic design's pillow-but I can carry another pillow, take
the thermarest, slip it into the thermarester chair, and actually have
the most lovely of backpacking luxuries-a place to sit with back
support. Weighs more, but worth it.

I purchased my Basic Designs Equalizer back when I was 17 years old... I'm turning 44 this August and it finally sprung a few leaks this year.... That WAS ONE GOOD MAT! I went through Therm-A-Rest like crazy from 14 years old to 17 when I first purchased
this one because of the individual air pockets and being majorly frustrated with Therm-A-Rests products... It was one of the best purchases I ever made! Now the only problem is, trying to find another one. I haven't seen them on the market for quite
some time. Does anyone know if Basic Designs is still around. Because I'd love to give them my business again! That product for today's standards was SPECTACULAR! Yes I know this is a really old post, but it's the only post online I could find about
Basic Designs The Equalizer..... so I'll ask here... and pray someone knows something!
