Robert Kronfeld, Wolf Hirth, Derek Piggott, Phillip Wills, Ann Welch, several rare translated German books, British books and US authors, 1930's to 1990's. Every SOARING magazine since the first issue.

Located in my dry and high (5,000' msl) Marfa Gliders Soaring Center in southwest Texas.

In the many inquiries about my books some wondered if I might be retiring from a lifetime in soaring. I'm just downsizing a bit including selling my largest of three nice hangars on Marfa Airport. Yes, I sold my DG-1000T, a low-time ASK-21 and my '46
Piper J3 Cub but in the past year I've acquired a Schleicher K7 and a Scheibe Bergfalke with my open-cockpit ASK-13, participating in our Vintage Sailplane Association events (www.vintagesailplane.org) with more older sailplanes being restored and flying
    today than 10 years ago.

I still own Marfa Gliders Soaring Center. I'm giving quality flight instruction, a Rusty Pilot course and FREE checkrides for all glider ratings year-round. If that's something you have been putting off, then come on down to Marfa via Midland or El Paso
because "Someday is Now!" E-mail to discuss details and dates. Find me rockin' on Facebook as "Burton Compton."
