  • TFR Saturday Affects Moriarty

    Just in case anyone plans to fly at Moriarty on Saturday, there will be
    a Presidential TFR, the boundary of which, crosses the approach end of
    RWY 26. I've been told that the airport manager will close the airport
    at 1230 MDT.

    Looking at the sectional chart on skyvector.com, it appears that RWY
    17/35 is unaffected. Wouldn't it be nice to operate off of that runway
    and keep all traffic east of the field?

    I second the motion! Is there time to convince the airport manager, perhaps using small words?
