• Cambridge 302 Needed for Testing

From Paul Remde@21:1/5 to All on Fri Apr 22 08:41:45 2022
    Hi,

Does anyone have a Cambridge 302 in need of calibration? I ask because while I have it here (assuming the customer is OK with it), I'd like to test it with a new Goddard cable for connecting the 302 to a Naviter Bluetooth Dongle - for sending data to a
current phone or Oudie N using SeeYou Navigator software.

Naviter is willing and planning to enable the reception of 302 data in SeeYou Navigator.

    Hi,
Paul, I am not quite sure what your offer is, but
I have a CAI 302 doing nothing but wait for a chance to get serviced; the sensitivity
is wildly too high, maybe 3x. I would loan it for amonth if that suits your need; however, I am in Ottawa
and Customs may want re-import duty plus there is always a delay both directions.
However, I would be willing to drive to Ogdensburg and ship from the mail drop there
provided you can be sure to restore it to normality.
    regards

    Hi Sarah,

Thank you for the note. I'd love to borrow your 302 whenever it is convenient. I'll be at the gliderport on Friday of the Cross-Country Camp. You could leave it in our hangar or the clubhouse any time. I need only the 302. I have the related GPS
antenna and power connector and wiring.

    Best Regards,

    Paul Remde

    Hi John,

Thanks for the note. I think I have found a 302 locally to use for testing.

I can calibrate 302 units, and replace the built-in backup battery, but Gary Kammerer is the best resource for all other Cambridge repairs. You can see details here:
