@JayCampbell, would appreciate any help with this. I have the same issue with my Ventus B Sn161. Water leaking from the actuating rod into the fuzelage and then out the wheel well. Been considering all kinds of options and in my mind there must be aneasier way fix or even slow down the leak, than cutting holes in the bottom of the wing. Any help would be appreciated. Best Rene
I had my first actuator leak at the wing root of my Discus CS just last week. I've already designed, built, and tested a fix that can be made external of the wing. Very simple, but very effective. If you would like a description and a picture, justcontact me. If you have a lathe, you can make it yourself; if not, any local machine shop can do the job with a few parts from McMaster Carr.
