    Recently our local FSDO stated that a pilot who is not "current" means he/she has not satisfied a flight review within the required time and does not reflect what he called pilot "proficiency" in a particular type. He said he assumes the NTSB and FAA
    investigators will include the pilot's currency status as of the accident date in the final report. The preliminary report said this was his first flight in the SGS 1-35.
