I'm not sure why this is described as an accident.
Best guess, without more info, is that there was flutter, likely rudder, that caused fuselage damage.
I've repaired another ship that had a similar event that was caused by improperly tensioned rudder cables (rudder was free to move 2 inches with pedals held solid, and rudder that was not mass balanced. Damage was torsional failure at the base of the
fin.

The "accident" may have occurred on a previous flight, or perhaps while being trailered, rigged, or even from improper ground handling. I wonder what his speed was when he deployed the spoilers, and why he used spoilers instead of slowly pitching up to
slow down. And incredibly, his choice to induce the vibration again seems like really bad judgement. I would've broadcast what happened, that I may have a control or structural problem, and I'm going to descend slowly, then land as smoothly as I can,
with very little spoiler use. "Be ready to rescue me".
