I would like to bring all of you up to date on the progress of TCSC in Vero Beach, Fl.
As of today we are approaching 90 members and we have a healthy supply of youth members that are advancing at a rapid pace. Many of our youth members have made their solo flights and more are in the pipeline. Of our youth members you may be surprised to
learn that many are female pilots and several have solo'd on their 14th birthday. A majority of our flights are for training which includes both young and older pilots. Each month seems to beat previous years records in tows and participation from new
glider pilots.
Our fleet is rapidly changing, adding new glider for glider pilots to fly and expanding their cross country skills. The newest ship is an ASW24 that pilots are checking out and getting a taste of what good glass ships can do. During this spring we will
be encouraging many of our pilots to join in on cross country soaring and developing new pilots to get away from the home nest.
Our annual TCSC Safari will be better than ever, we have some exciting new news that will be forthcoming in the near future. Don't miss out, everyone is welcome, come fly the Treasure Coast and soar big triangles deep into the Everglades. OBTP

Uh, we are experiencing a larger number of youth girls than boys, the girls seem to advance more rapidly that their counterpart boys. May have the best of the girls preparing for her private glider cherckride within a couple of weeks. She may be the best
at the back end of the rope that I have pulled in a long time. OBTP
