Russia has tested MiG-31K fighter jets with Kinzhal hypersonic
aeroballistic missiles in Syria for the first time ..
In February, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced the transfer
of MiG-31K fighters with X-47M2 Kinzhal hypersonic missiles and
Tu-22M3 long-range bombers with X-22 supersonic cruise anti-ship
missiles to the Khmeimim air base in Syria to participate in the
exercises of the Russian Navy in the Mediterranean.
